If Java players can log in and Bedrock players cannot, first distinguish between the Geyser listener, the correct Bedrock port, and client compatibility.
Step by step
-
From the Geyser startup log, find out the port it is listening on and the transport mode used. Give Geyser port to Bedrock player instead of Java port.
-
Try connecting to Bedrock from an external network. On a classic connection, check UDP routing, whether the Geyser port conflicts with another process, and provider rules.
-
If you connect to Geyser but cannot log in, examine the client version, Java target and Floodgate configuration. Look at the first error in the geyser log.
-
Once you fix the port, first verify the status query and then log in to the world with your Bedrock account. See that the Java connection continues in the test.
Keep in mind
Minecraft Marketplace or console connection limitations are separate issues from the server port.
