What is Aternos DynIP and how to use it?

DynIP is the temporary address that Aternos shows on the connection screen for Java Edition. Used for comparison when resolution of the normal address fails.

Step by step

  1. Start the server and wait until it comes online. Open the Connect or Bağlan window in the panel.

  2. Copy the exact DynIP shown there. Deleting the port at the end of the address when typing in Java's direct connection screen.

  3. Try the regular address first, then DynIP with the same client. If DynIP is running, the server is turned on, the difference may be in the resolution of the normal name or the connection path.

  4. Recheck the value on the panel at the next startup. Don't expect your friends to always use the old DynIP in the server list.

Keep in mind

DynIP is for Java. Bedrock players should use the Bedrock connection method on the panel.
