How to grant or revoke OP on a Minecraft server

OP grants broad management authority. To delegate, you'll need access to the server console or an already authorized administrator account.

Step by step

  1. Run op OyuncuAdi on the console under the correct player name. Check which player the permission goes to in the console response.

  2. Examine the authorization level on the server. If your goal is just moderation or a single plugin command, you can use a permission group.

  3. To undo, run deop OyuncuAdi. If the player has previously received a separate add-on authorization, review that group as well.

  4. Verify the authority you have given with a command with permission, and the authority you have removed by trying the same command again. You don't need to share server console access.

Keep in mind

OP actions can open commands that affect the world. Check your username for spelling errors.
