How to ban and remove ban on Minecraft server?

Banning by name on the Java server blocks the specific player from entering. IP ban may also affect other people using the same network, verify the target player first.

Step by step

1. Check the correct name and event log in the console. Ban the player with ban OyuncuAdi Sebep.

2. Verify registration with banlist players. If a temporary penalty is required, check the temporary penalty command of the moderation plugin you are using.

3. Use pardon OyuncuAdi to unban. The record of the penalty issued over IP and the removal command are different.

4. If the player still cannot log in, see the full error message. Proxy, separate back server and moderation plugin can maintain different ban lists.

Keep in mind

If you're using Bedrock Dedicated Server or a custom plugin, verify command support in that software.
